Therefore, this program can be far simpler to use than most complicated, schedule-driven programs.

The Scheduling Features in CHS are simply handy "bonus" tools that are included in the CHS package.

JOB STATUS REPORTS: 

Weekly phase tracking of all jobs in progress.

IMPORTANT:  The Scheduling Information movies for the newest program are under construction.  HOWEVER, the basic features have not changed much, except that Scheduling is no longer a separate application.

      
SCHEDULING WORKSHEET: 

Set up as many tasks that you'd like to schedule on a Scheduling Worksheet. Enter Start and Duration number of Days that will react to the completion or beginning of other tasks. Copy Scheduling Templates from one job to another. Change the start date (or other beginning dates) and the entire schedule will recalculate for you. Post Finish dates for tasks and the rest of the schedule will adjust. Enter notes about delays and agreements for the task work.

Attach a Job Cost Code Category from your CHS budget to the task and instantly review Change Orders, Purchase Orders, and Costs-To-Date related to the Cost Category.

The Scheduling Movie tutorials are based on Power Point presentations.  If one seems to abruptly stop, it will be continued on the next movie.  (NOTE:  In the newest CHS program, Scheduling can be found by typing 'Schedule..' into the Index on the CHS Navigation/Home window.  It is no longer a separate application as it states in the movie.)

SCHEDULING ORDER:  Assign Trade or Supplier Vendor from your CHS database and instantly produce a "Scheduling Order" to email or send to the Vendor.   A Scheduling Order includes the job's locations, instructions to the vendor, dates to begin tasks, and duration days for the task.  
GANTT CHARTS:  Print Gantt style scheduling charts for the entire job, phases, for one trade/supplier, or selected trades/suppliers.

SCHEDULING REPORTS / TO-DO LISTS:  Print Scheduling Reports and "To Do" Lists of Tasks based on selections of jobs, vendors, start dates, and Job Managers.
